A great resource to encourage students to revise through game play. Highly challenging and competitive. Students soon forget that they are even revising.
64 cards - Key quotes, Themes and Techniques for:
Romeo and Juliet
A Christmas Carol
Lord of the Flies
Poetry: Power and Conflict
The multi-coloured board game and the rules are included too.
This game is very versatile and that is why I have left some aspects of the rules up to you. What may work with one group, may not work with another.
How I play:
Start in the middle and work your way around the board with each role of the dice. The group that land on the category picks a representative who has to:
-draw
-articulate
-act
- guess (speaker/ poem etc)
something that is similar to the point on the card. The rest of the team need to guess within the time allotted. If the group fail to guess, then they need to move their counter back to where they came from.
Happy playing (I mean - REVISING!)
